Firebase extended their branding graphics to include a realm that blends 3D elements with flat graphics—Ocupop was tasked with ensuring that the flat illustrations were styled in a way that worked seamlessly with the 3-dimensional world. I concepted various stylistic approaches including sketchy linework, flat shapes, and most importantly, fun characters.
