ORDINARY FREAKS

I love making stuff, and I really love making stuff for people with a cool vision for themselves and for their community. Throughout the years, I’ve worked with friends, acquaintances, and local organizations to design bits and pieces for miscellaneous projects.

Ordinary Freaks is a local run club with an established following and regular run events. They wanted a mascot and supplementary branding and came to me with the proposal of “bad ass running skull”.

It was a blast to create this cheerful little dude, and set him up with some various accessories. I created a standard set in addition to a “dark mode” skull for use on dark backgrounds.

Sweet Smoke creates some of the best barbeque in Milwaukee, as an objective fact. The owners, Adam and Cindi are also two of the sweetest humans I’ve ever met. They asked if I could create a graphic inspired by a drawing their kid made and in terms of dream projects, this one checked a lot of boxes.

I worked on a two color version for pre-order sweatshirts, and they loved it so much we worked out a one color iteration to put on tote bags for special holiday orders. Love BBQ, love cool people, love collaboration.
